Easy-to-Implement Fax Solution

RUSH is designed to provide the system manager an easy-to-implement fax solution in a multi-user environment. The system manager has complete control of all dialing and connection procedures. Managers are able to control user access to fax numbers and to determine a schedule for sending faxes to remote sites. In addition, RUSH maintains a log that will permit easy tracking of the number of faxes sent, who sent them, to whom they were sent, what time they were sent, whether or not they were successfully received by the remote fax machine, and more!

Minimum System Hardware Requirements

Any Data General ECLIPSE MV computer system running the AOS/VS II operating system with:

• 6000 free disk blocks for installation of RUSH software
• 1 RS-232C asynchronous bi-directional communications port
• 4 Mb of main memory recommended

Media

RUSH software for the MV is supplied on 9-track or 8 mm tape as well as 21 Mb, 130 Mb, or 150 Mb cartridges.
